The third edition of 948 Merkatua, the Art Market of Navarra and Professional Encounter Forum, consolidates itself as a market and interdisciplinary forum in which all creative and artistic disciplines have their place, and as a space where the way in which they all interact is best seen.
We go for hybrid creation and interdisciplinary content, understanding that the dialogue between artistic disciplines leads to the most interesting creative and cultural innovations of our time.
An edition that has been renewed with changes to its artistic and professional definition. A renewal process that seeks to give a greater boost to 948 Merkatua and the culture of Navarra in its projection beyond its borders. It is also a renewal aimed at making the event more attractive more open and more welcoming for any professional who wishes to attend.
This 2019 edition of 948 Merkatua is a step forward on the path to maturity and consolidation of the programme. While maintaining the structure of the 948 PRO Programme (talks, workshops, meetings between professionals, debates, seminars, stands, networking…) in the mornings in Baluarte and the 948 ART Programme (artistic presentations) in different venues around Pamplona in the afternoons/evenings, this edition moves towards a more basic and clearer model. A step in which new processes and measures are applied to accompany the renewal of the artistic and professional definition.
Thus, the 948 PRO Programme redefines the spaces and activities to make the event more efficient and formative for the professionals attending and participating in the forum.
