ISOLARIOS: Isolarios is the title that forms the practical part of his PhD thesis focusing on research into the creative processes of the artist. It is a metaphoric, symbolic, dramatised and figurative representation of how the path is built and travelled until connecting with the work.
LUR ZATI BAT: The starting point of the Lur zati Bat project (a piece of earth) is the reference of the literary trilogy The Islands of Hell, of Paradise and of War (1988) by the Spanish writer, Ángel Torres Quesada. The novel begins with a strange event: In different places on Earth, pieces of the planet have disappeared. In their place, there are empty spaces. To make up this proposal, the diverse possibility of the de-contextualised tale comes into pictorial practise to travel down paths that have never been travelled before, such as that of engraving.
THE DAY OF AN AMERICAN JOURNALIST IN 2889: What will our world be like in a thousand years time? This is surely one of the questions that Julio Verne would have asked in 1889, when he was given the opportunity to write this tale. The day of an American journalist in 2889, is brought to life by the artist from Navarra through the drawings, which describe this futuristic world perceived by the writer.
