948 PRO - Conferences
Baluarte Congress Centre and Auditorium of Navarra

Wednesday, 21 November 2018 - 12:00
30 minutes

Fernando Sáenz de Iturbide is an eclectic cultural manager who studied science (geology) and later dedicated himself to sociocultural and socio-educational facilitation and cultural management, plus experience in the field of human rights on the international level, studies on traditional games and toys, bringing up children and household affairs. He produces more than 20 choreographic creation and production processes a year.

His talk will focus on the 16-year track record of Dantzaz, starting as a “young company” project and ending in his current Choreography Centre linked to a Job Centre, and the changes that its structure has undergone based on the evolution of the dance sector and of society in general. Dantzaz has created jobs for more than 130 dancers and over 50 choreographers, as well as other sector professionals.

Fernando Sáenz de Ugarte Dantzaz, Donosti.
