Idoia Zabaleta. Choreographer. Her work has been seen in festivals and encounters internationally. She teaches a number of Master’s and postgraduate courses. In 2008 she set up -and has run since then- AZALA, together with Juan González.

SYNOPSIS

AZALA, a space for artistic creation and residences in the countryside in Álava, a case study to highlight the need for cooperation and dialogue on an equal basis between small, medium-sized and large structures, between public and private institutions and, basically, between players of different types. It will be explained why AZALA is called AZALA, as well as the secret of its vitality after ten years of hard work.
