Terrassa Noves Tendencies: do you dance or do something hybrid?

948 PRO - Conferences
Baluarte Congress Centre and Auditorium of Navarra

Thursday, 22 November 2018 - 12:00
30 minutes

Pep Pla has directed the TNT-Terrassa Noves Tendències Festival since 2008, and is a member of commissions for theatres and strategic companies and markets of the Generalitat de Cataluña as well as the Commission of the Cultural Companies Institute ICEC. As a theatre director, he has led more than twenty stage productions.

Pep Pla will make a presentation at the TNT-Terrassa Noves Tendències Festival, addressing its essence and how it works, as well as the reasons why it is important to support artists and companies that make “hybrid” products, which are neither drama, circus, dance, objects or music. Products that are successful almost everywhere, and yet are not often seen in this country because there is a lack of tours.
Pep Pla will mention the companies and artists that promote “hybrid” projects, and will explain what they do and why the TNT-Terrassa Noves Tendències Festival believes that fusion and “hybridism” are the future. He will also talk about the relationship they have (and would like to have) with other artists and the general public.
