Mara and Hamed are a boy and a girl who que liv in a country at war. Mara offers Hamed her creativity while, Hamed offers Mara his friendship. Through play, dance and fantasy, they create their own world in which they can keep their innocence and joy, which helps them to survive among the bombardments.
The work speaks of the pain, misery and injustice created by war, but also of hope for the future; of the importance of knowledge and education; of the power of the imagination and of friendship, to free oneself of fear and loneliness.
