Aimed at people who want to base themselves on the most absurd and amusing creativity to express a message. Caricature, exaggeration and graphic humour in general as a communication tool to convey anything from a political ideology to an interest in the most banal commodity. If they are accompanied by humour, letters make their mark.
César Oroz Martija has published a daily cartoon strip in Diario de Navarra since 1991 under the heading “Punto Final”. He has carried out other illustrations, caricatures and cartoons in the same newspaper under the titles Piso de Estudiantes (student apartment), Humor en Rojo (red humour), etc.
In 2004 he won the Mingote Prize for Graphic Humous awarded by the ABC newspaper for a strip published that year in Diario de Navarra.
He has also translated humorous drawing to formats such as posters, banners of the peñas in the festivity of San Fermín since 1984, advertising campaigns and several exhibitions of comics and graphic humour. He has worked with publications such as El Jueves, the Sunday supplement of ABC, the magazine Sibaritas, the Aranzadi legal journal and the satirical magazine OrgulloySatisfacción.com.
He has published around fifteen compilations of his work on humour and news and has a website (www.latiradeoroz.es) where his work can be consulted in digital format.
