Folkloric and electronic agitation, diva-like behaviour and humour, elegant erotism, hedonism and the celebration of non-negotiable rights. A staging that combines vintage elements with video screenings and a wardrobe that will leave nobody indifferent create a formula that everyone would like to clone, but nobody but Rodrigo knows how to.
Rodrigo Cuevas (Oviedo 1985) recalls that “when I was eight years old I asked Father Christmas for a Casio ctk 510. He never brought it but I received another one with fewer sounds, to play much more serious music. That’s how I started playing the piano. I studied in the conservatoire in Oviedo and in ESMUC in Barcelona". After delving into world music, cabaret and the circus, and starting to study the tuba, his real revelation came when he went to live in a small village in deepest Galicia, where he came into contact with the purest traditional music thanks to local folk musicians. That is where everything began.
