The international projection of the arts sector has to be a two-way process, and not just carried out by artists and companies. What do we know about the international panorama in relation to our activity? Is our strategy to generate collaborations or sell gigs? What are we prepared to invest? Who, and how, will accompany us from the institutions? Is that the solution?
Marta Olivares has been working in cultural management for 25 years within a new and pioneering model of artist management in Spain: MOM / ELVIVERO. She is a member of the National Council of Culture and Arts of Catalonia and of IETM, a co-organization of Satélite (Bilbao and Gijón). She is also Director of the Creative Area of Institut Ramon Llull, working on the promotion and dissemination of Catalan culture abroad.
