What is cultural management like in a medium-sized municipality? What does the cultural manager’s normal day consist of? Are there differences in the functions, the focus, the tasks, the public, the challenges... between Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Navarre?
We will get to know first-hand the work involved in cultural management at the municipal level and the challenges faced on a daily basis.
LADE (Degree in Business Administration); expert in Local Cultural Management (UPNA); postgraduate degree in Cultural Management (UOC). From 2005 to 2017 she worked in Fundación Auditorio Barañain. Since 2017, manager in the District Council of the Aranguren Valley (near Pamplona). President of KUNA since August 2019.
A graduate in Art History and Archaeology, Christelle Mange joined the Municipality of Mauléon in 2001 to manage the new municipal culture complex. She began by supporting the local councillors in the implementation of a cultural project and the structuring of a department to set it up. Her work now extends to live shows, heritage and public readings.
The activity of the service is called “Scène de territoire” (territorial stage) for live shows in the Department of the Pyrénées Atlantiques.
