ANCIENT MUSIC

Danserie was born in 1999. It is devoted to the research and performance of music prior to the 18th century, following historic criteria and using copies of instruments of the period. It brings ancient music to the general public with concerts in different formats: classic, didactic... It has recorded a CD, Antzinako negarra-Lacrimae antiquae.

Iñaki Rodríguez, the saxophonist who gives his name to the quartet, is working on various projects, such as the Broken Brothers Brass Band, 3.3, Ramón García & Iñaki Rodríguez, Hilario Rodeiro & Iñaki Rodríguez and his own quartet with which he recorded his first album in 2013. He has been well received by the specialised critics. He is also a regular participant in International Festivals and he has performed alongside invited artists of the likes of the trombonist

Dj Göo! features in sessions with styles ranging from techno to disco, house or even pop or breakbeat. A regular in the programme of La 2 (Nitsa-Apolo / Barcelona) or Katos Disco (Pamplona), Göo also performs at festivals, such as Bilbao BBK Live, Primavera Sound or Low Festival. He is also known in halls in England and Sweden, as well as in Madrid and most of Spain.

SOUL

No more Blues got together fourteen years again and has always remained true to the same musical style that brings together versions of black music, swing, jazz, soul, blues, funk and rock. The band is made up of eleven members with plenty of experience and together, they have appeared on such diverse stages as the Burlada Blues Festival, the Hondarribia Blues Festival, the Zentral Hall, Caballo Blanco and El Bardo Escaldao.

Popular Basque music, zarzuelas, black spiritual music, habaneras, opera, etc. form part of its typical repertoire.

Martín Armendariz, Dj Budin, is a Dj who has spent over 20 years collecting the whole range of black music vinyls and his sessions are always in this format. He has spun the music at the Jazzaldia Festival, Musikaire, Kutxa Culture Festival, Mundumira, Minijazz. He is a regular at the leading discos in the Basque Country.

This ensemble of violoncellos has various concert programmes under its belt, from the purest classic, through versions of the great works of the chamber repertoire, to programmes full of light music and jazz.  Its members, Eva Niño, David Johnstone and Javier Navascués, have been playing together since 2009.

Attikus Finch is a rock band from Iruña-Pamplona with a sound with a marked Anglo-Saxon influence, although sung in Spanish. With touches from the 1970s to the 1990s, this group’s music does not cease to be absolutely modern.

Maite is a soprano, musical producer and founder of Elfenthal and her accomplishments include having reached Number One in Germany. John is the founder of the legendary Kelly Family and has sold over 20 million albums.

This well-known singer and composer has spent 35 years devoted to music, during which time she has worked in two orchestras and in the groups, Belladona and Tahúres Zurdos. With this latter band, she has released 13 CDs and a DVD. All of this is in addition to her solo career since 2004, whereby the release of three albums and her captivating voice are proof of her quality.

Their style enters into rock with songs with a clear melodic vocation and choruses that must be danced to. Sonic Toys has been researching and working on a musical proposal from the perspective of the most contemporary trends and offers mature rock that is melodic and uncomplicated. Together, Alex Sanz, Xabi Jareño and Adrián Vallejo have released two albums with a very personal style: Rock and Un plan mejor.

The Titanians is a band of Reggae Roots from Iruña, which is currently developing its own project and combining it with acting as the backing band for different artists, either in the studio or live. They also work with Raperos de Emaús. This group, with a clear identity, is the continuation of what came about with the Zero Koma Reggae Band.

These ideas are what motivate the accordion player from Pamplona, Javier López Jaso, and the Argentinean double bass player, Marcelo Escrich, to form this duo, in which the only star is the music itself.

The Disappointments got together at the end of 2015 to make a repertoire of instrumental themes aimed at soul. In this musical group, clear influences of Bebop, Blues, Northern Soul and ModJazz can be seen. In 2016, they released their first album, which was presented on different stages, such as the San Sebastian Jazz Festival.

Lazy Daisy Band explores music with North American roots. Today, it has evolved towards a more country rock sound, but with constant touches of blues, folk and rockabilly, a style that this group calls Napar-Country. The band is currently in the pre-production phase of its first album of its own songs.

The Lights of the North Project is the first work of the pianist from Navarra, Ramón García Lara. In it, he addresses his diverse concerns from a small septet group. The echo of the big jazz bands is evident in this music, influenced by figures such as B. Holman, O. Nelson and W. Shorter, among others. Lights of the North includes some of the leading and best known jazz musicians on the Navarra scene.

Brigada Improductiva (Pamplona, 2007) creates its own sound within rock-ska music, combining it with the happiness of folk and resulting in heterodox and festive ska. After over a hundred concerts inside and outside Navarra and diverse recognitions (winners of ZerbuRock 2011 and participants in Artists on Route 2013, among others), this septet continues to conquer stages.

The group got together in 1996, some of whom are reproduced and still play today. They are not serious or formal and their mission is to laugh at the entire universe and dance. Perhaps, for this reason they claim to be the inventors of beach galactic rock and they have comeback to save music. Their discography is crowned with 20 Años, 20 Minutos.
